Description
Gond Katira Cooling Drink is light, refreshing, and hydrating. Gond Katira (Tragacanth gum) is traditionally used to help cool the body during hot weather. Its soluble fiber also supports digestion and helps keep you feeling full. Combined with mint leaves and fresh lemon, it’s a simple, nourishing drink for warm days.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp Gond Katira
- 1½ cups plain chilled water
- 1–2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 5–6 fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- ½ tsp soaked sabja (basil) seeds
- Ice cubes (optional)
- A pinch of black salt
Instructions
- Soak 1 tsp Gond Katira in plenty of water overnight until it becomes jelly-like.
- Add 1–2 tbsp of the soaked Gond Katira to a glass.
- Pour in chilled water.
- Add lemon juice, chopped mint leaves, and soaked sabja seeds.
- Stir well, add ice cubes, and finish with a pinch of black salt.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You can explore the below variations:
1. Replace Coconut water with chilled water
2. Can make it protein rich, by adding greek yogurt. Can add upto add 1/2 cup of yogurt
3. To make it more calorie dense, add 2-3 chopped almonds and 2-3 pistachios
